Edith F. Ghisletta
March 15, 1914 — June 21, 2010
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, June 25, for Edith F. Ghisletta of 
Patterson, who died Monday, June 21, at her home.
Mrs. Ghisletta, 96, was a native of Gustine and lived in Patterson for 71 years. She 
was a homemaker for 71 years and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She was a member of I.C.F. and the Patterson Garden Club. She enjoyed cooking and 
was an avid card player.
Mrs. Ghisletta is survived by her husband of 71 years, Anthony Ghisletta of Patterson; 
sons, Joe Ghisletta of Patterson and Anthony Ghisletta of Martinez; brothers, Joe and 
Frank Borrelli, both of Gustine; sisters, Mary Nunes, Elizabeth Brewer and Sue Beard, 
all of Gustine, Angie DePonte of Modesto and Delores Gambardella of San Anselmo; 
seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Filomena Borrelli; brothers, Frank 
Borrelli and Tony Borrelli; and sisters, Millie Sai and Josephine Martucci.
Friday’s recitation of the rosary and Mass will begin at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church, 529 I St., in Patterson. Visitation will be observed from 8 to 9:45 
that morning at Hillview Funeral Chapel, 450 W. Las Palmas Ave. Burial will follow in 
Patterson District Cemetery, 10800 Highway 33.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. Ghisletta’s name may be sent to the Father Connors 
Endowment Trust Fund, P.O. Box 1174, Patterson, CA 95363; to Community 
Hospice, 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto, CA 95356; or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
