Ghisletta Leo 021205 p7 Patterson native Leo Ghisletta. a longtime local farmer and dairyman, died Tuesday at Nathan AdeIson Hospice-West in Las Vegas after an extended illness. He was 84. Born and educated here, he graduated in the Patterson High class of 1936, then served in the US Navy during World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post #168. He also belonged to Family Christian Center in Patterson and was an active church member for many years. He and his wife Vera traveled extensively, much of it on church related projects. A service will be held here next Monday at the Family Christian Center. Burial in Paterson District Cemetery will follow. Visitation will be Sunday, from 5-8 p.m. at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson Survivors include his wife, Vera Ghisletta of Las Vegas; a daughter, Karen Baker of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Anthony, Miles and Ronnie, all of Patterson, and Stanley Ghisletta of Sacramento; and two sisters, Annalee Knoll of Crows Landing and Lorene Alves of Patterson. He was preceded in death by sisters Margarite Farrell and Carleen Mahaffey.
