Elana Agnes Giovacchini

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday for Elana Agnes 
Giovacchini of Patterson, who died Wednesday at Foothill Manor in Patterson.
Mrs. Giovacchini, 94, was a native of Tacoma, Wash., and lived in Patterson 26 
years. She was a homemaker for 76 years. Mrs. Giovacchini was a parishioner of 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson.
Mrs. Giovacchini is survived by her son, Mario Giovacchini of Watsonville; 
daughters, Marie Lara of Westley and Sylvia Beccaria of Capitola; nine 
grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guido Giovacchini; and grandson, Dino 
Giovacchini.
A visitation will be observed from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hillview Funeral 
Chapel, 450 W. Las Palmas Ave., in Patterson. A recitation of the rosary and 
Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 529 I St., 
in Patterson. Burial will follow in Patterson District Cemetery, 10800 Highway 
33.
