Services Slated for Maria C. Gomez; Newman - Services will be held Wednesday morning for Maria C. Gomez, 70, a
Newman area resident for 33 years. She died last Wednesday in Modesto of an apparent heart attack. A rosary will be
recited tonight, Monday, at 8 pm in the Evans-Krieger Funeral Chapel, and her body will lie in the Grayson Apostolic
Church Tuesday evening.  Services will be held there Wednesday at 10 am with burial to follow in Hills Ferry Cemetery.
A native of Texas, she is survived by a son, Peter Gomez of Modesto; daughter Mrs. Elizabeth Gardina of Texas; two
brothers and one granddaughter.
