Requiem Mass Conducted For Manuel Gonsalves; Requiem Mass was conducted Monday in St. Joachim s Catholic
Church In Newman for Manuel Silveira Gonsalves, 70, of Crows Landing.  Gonsalves died last Friday in a San Francisco
hospital.  Interment was in the Hills Ferry Cemetery. He was a native of the Azores and had lived in Crows Landing and
Newman for 47 years.  He was a retired dairyman. He is survived by his wife, Rosa of Crows Landing; one son Manuel J.
Gonsalves of Crows Landing; one daughter, Louise Borrego of Fremont; a brother and sister in the Azores; and six
grandchildren.
