Gonzalez Santiago Solis 030107 p12 Final rites will be held here today (Tuesday) for 33-year Patterson resident Santiago Solis Gonzalez. He died here last Wednesday, Jan. 1, He was 64. A native of Mission, Texas, he worked at a nurseryman with Burchell Nursery in Modesto for 29 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Modesto Golf Association, and the Children of God Prayer Group in Stockton. A vigil service was held Monday evening at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson. A Mass is scheduled for Tuesday at 10 am. at Sacred Heart Church, with burial in Patterson District Cemetery to follow. Survivors include his wife, Carmen Gonzalez of Patterson; five sons, Gonzalo of Germany, Guadalupe of Fremont, Jerry of Allentown, Penn., Gustavo of Patterson, and Gilbert Gonzalez of Ripon; two daughters, Grace Moore of Reno, Nev., and Gloria Jimenez of San Jose; 11 grandchildren; four brothers, Narcisco of Manteca, Nabor of McAllen, Tex., Noel of Harlingen, Tex., and Nestor Gonzalez of Phoenix, Ariz.; and one sister, Natila Mata of Phoeniz.
