Gordon George 560405 p1 Final Rites for George Gordon; Services were held at 2 p.m. yesterday for George William Gordon Jr., 43, who died suddenly from a heart attack Monday afternoon. Interment was in Del Puerto Cemetery. Rev. Edwin 0 Solie officiated. Gordon had been driving stakes in his yard on E. Las Palmas. His two daughters, Gloria and Georgia, waved to him at noon time, when they came home from high school for lunch. When they left about 12:30, they didn t see their father, but they noticed their Collie dog acting strangely. They found their father laying on the ground and ran next door to the Lloyd Bowman home and summoned help. Gordon had had minor attacks before and was under a doctor s care. Gordon was born in Tokay Colony Stockton, and came to Patterson with his family in 1928. He lived in Gustine a few years, and when he came here, began ranching on, E. Las Palmas Ave. The last few years he was a bus driver for the local elementary schools. He was also a member of the West Side Eagles motorcycle club. Surviving are his wife, Luella, two daughters, Gloria and Georgia, a son, David; his mother, Mrs. Clara Gordon. all of Patterson; two brothers, Arthur of Sacramento and Robert of Stockton and a sister, Mrs. Blanche Penero of Stockton.
