Manuel V. Goulart, 47;  A native of the Azores who had lived here the past eight years died Wednesday at Doctors
Medical Center in Modesto.  Manuel V. Goulart died at age 47. He was a native of Pico and had worked for Express
Drywall as a taper for eight years.  He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a member of F.D.E.S.  A vigil
service was held Monday evening at Sacred Heart Church where a Mass will be held today (Tuesday) at 10 am. Burial in
Patterson District Cemetery will follow.  Hillview Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.  Survivors include
two sons, Paul of Patterson and Brian Goulart of Oakley: and three brothers, Fielder and Norbert, both of San Jose, and
Caries Goulart of Modesto.  Remembrances should be sent to Sacred Heart Church, 529 I St., Patterson.
