Catherine Louise Goutiere   Sept. 2, 1917 � June19, 2004
Services will be Thursday for Patterson resident, Catherine Louise Goutiere, 86, who died Saturday at her home .
Born in Urbana, III., Mrs. Goutiere moved to California in 1945, settling in Patterson in 1950.  A U.S. Army veteran, she
was a physical therapist during World War II.  She was a member of the Chi Omega s Omicron chapter at the University
of Illinois.  She was also a member of the Patterson Study Club.  Her care giver for the past six years has been Maria
Martinez.  She is survived by four daughters, Wendi Schroeder of Kamiah, Idaho; Ranie Milldrum, Alice Cuccuini and
Christine Turner, all of Modesto; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her
husband, Vernon Goutiere; and an  infant daughter ,Jeanne Goutiere.  Thursday's services  will begin at, 10 a.m. at
Federated Church, 45 S. El Circulo, in Patterson.  No visitation is planned, and inurnment will he private.  Memorial
contributions may be sent to Community Hospice, 601 McHenry Ste. C, Modesto 95350; or Habitat for Humanity, 2301B
Woodland Ave., Modesto 95358.
