Tyrone J. Graves

A graveside service with military honors will be Thursday for Tyrone J. Graves 
of Pittsburg, who died Sunday at Kaiser Hospital in Antioch.
Mr. Graves, 72, was a native of Louisa County, Va., and a resident of Pittsburg 
for 36 years. He was a maintenance worker for the U.S. Postal Service for 22 
years. He was also a retired U.S. Navy Chief Gunner�s Mate who served proudly 
during the Vietnam War.
He had a passion for fishing and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Los 
Angeles Lakers and San Francisco Giants.
Mr. Graves is survived by his wife, Linda May Graves of Pittsburg; daughter, 
LaTanya Brow, and her husband, Carter, of Patterson; brother, Freddie Graves of 
Los Angeles; sister, Lucille M. Johnson of Drewryville, Va.; and two 
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Taye J. Brown; parents, Finley and 
Elizabeth Graves; and brother, Finley Graves.
The graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Patterson District 
Cemetery, 10800 Highway 33.
Donations in Mr. Graves� name may be sent to Kingdom Hall, 385 12th St., 
Pittsburg 94565.
Hillview Funeral Chapel, 450 W. Las Palmas Ave., is handling arrangements.
