Green Joseph K 020411 p10 Joseph Kenneth Green, 86; A funeral service will be held here Friday for Joseph Kenneth Green, a 20-year Patterson resident who died Friday at his home. He was 86. A native of Dewey, Okla, he lived in Fremont for 25 years before retiring and moving to Patterson. He was an electronic technician with Stanford University for 15 years. He was a 59 year member of the Fraternal Brotherhood of Electrical Workers #302 in Martinez. He was a member of the Federated Church here in Patterson and the Methodist Church in Fremont. He also was a longtime member of the Odd Fellows Lodge, including Stockton Lodge #11, the Parker Encampment #3 in Stockton, the Orestimba Lodge #354 and the Santa Rita Rebekah #299, both in Newman. He also was a member of the Knights of Pythias, Charter Oak #20 in Stockton, and the House of Gordon United States Branch, California Division. He was well known in the Patterson community arid enjoyed playing both the violin and the harmonica. The Friday service at the Federated Church will begin at 10 a.m. Visitation will be today Thursday) from 5-8 p.m. at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson. Survivors include two sons, Joseph Kenneth Green II of Salinas and Carl Ira Green of Portland, Ore.; two daughters, Janice Sue Green Small of Fremont and Nancy Ann Green Robinson of Goleta; grandchildren Steve and Mike Small of Fremont, Ehren Robinson Tennant of Littleton, Colo.., Shannon Robinson Brenton of Camarillo, Adam Robinson and Joseph Kenneth Green III, both of Santa Barbara, Jenifer Lynn Eslick of Hayward, Jessica Ann Green of San Francisco, Scott Alan Green and Caroline Elizabeth Cox, both of Portland, Ore.:and seven great-grandchildren.
