Well-Known Attorney Dies At Modesto; Thomas F. Griffin, well-known Modesto attorney, died at his home in that city
last Saturday afternoon after a brief illness.  Funeral services were held on Tuesday morning. During his early manhood,
he taught school on the West Side before completing his legal training. He had been ill for nearly a week, his died
resulting from a hemorrhage and shock following an intestinal ulcer. Griffin, always active in county affairs was born in
Columbia, Tuolumne county and was 64 years old.
