Services Held for Bernice Grischott; Patterson - Services were held Friday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for
Bernice Lorain Grischott, 50, who died last Tuesday at her Westley home of an apparent heart attack.  Interment was in
Patterson. District Cemetery. A native of Tracy, she had lived in the Patterson-Westley area 45 years and attended
schools here. She is survived by her husband, John M. Grischott Jr.; a daughter, Diana Haile; a son, Don Grischott, all of
Westley; mother, Lena Castro of Patterson; two sisters, Lena Friedrich of Honolulu and Carolyn Craven of Patterson; a
brother, Henry Castro of Patterson, and four grandchildren.  The family requests any remembrances be given to the
American Heart Association or to the donor s favorite charity.
