Sharon Lee Grischott

A memorial service will be Tuesday for Sharon Grischott of Westley, who died 
Monday at her home.
Mrs. Grischott, 61, was born in Modesto and attended Modesto schools. She 
married Donald Grischott in 1967 and had two children with him, Traci and John. 
She dedicated her life to caring for her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Grischott was a two‑time winner of the California State Horseman�s 
Association state championship in the Indian costume category. She also 
participated in the Grand National Horse Show and was the mascot for the 
Patterson Redskins Delta Youth Football League team.
One of her passions was breeding and showing American Shorthair cats. She was a 
member of the International Cat Association for 15 years.
She also worked for Stanislaus Credit Control Service in Modesto for six years. 
She and her husband co-owned two businesses in Westley, Grischott Bros. for 12 
years and Grischott�s Tire for 10 years.
Mrs. Grischott is survived by her husband, Donald Grischott of Westley; son, 
John Grischott, and his wife, Michele, of Patterson; daughter, Traci Grischott 
of Westley; brother, Ronald Milar, and his wife, Kathy, of Waterford; and four 
grandchildren.
Tuesday�s memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. at Hillview Funeral Chapel, 450 
W. Las Palmas Ave., in Patterson. Burial will be private.
