Grisez Josephine M 020205 p3 Josephine Marie Grisez, 91; Final rites are scheduled here for Josephine Marie Grisez, a 70 year Crows Landing resident who died at her home last Friday following an extended illness. She was 91. A native of South San Francisco, she had been office manager for Grisez Warehouse, the family business, for 30 years. She was a graduate of Heald Business College. She also was a. member of both Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Crows Landing and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson, as well as the Altar Society. In addition she belonged to the Pebble Beach. Golf and Country Club as well as the Women s Group at the Turlock Golf. and Country Club. In addition she was prominently involved in the West Side social community and headed the election board in Crows Landing for many years. She also was an avid gardener who, enjoyed arranging flowers as well as an accomplished bridge player. A rosary will be held today, Tuesday, at 7:00 p.m. at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Newman. A mass is scheduled for Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, with burial in Hills Ferry Cemetery. Newman, to follow. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Newman chapel. Survivors include two sons, Dr. James .Grisez of Gilroy and Mike Grisez of Santa Cruz; a daughter, Joan Esposito of Manhattan Beach; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death in 1996 by her husband, John, Jack, Grisez, as well as a son, John Patrick Grisez in 1995, a grandson, Jimmy Grisez in 2002, and a brother, Rene Touranhu in 1968.
