Mary Louise Guerra     May 25, 1939 � March 13, 2005
A graveside service will be Friday for Mary Louise Ponce Guerra, 65, of Patterson, who died Monday at Memorial
Medical Center in Modesto.  Mrs. Guerra was a native of Modesto and a lifelong resident of Patterson.  She was a
homemaker who enjoyed quilting  and spending time with her family.  She was a Patterson High School graduate.
She is survived by her husband, Emerico Guerra of Patterson; four children, Frank Guerra of San Ramon, Kathryn P.
Newell and Maria Guerra-Whitehead, both of Tracy, and Laura Guerra of Berkeley; her mother, Pieda Sutterley of
Berkeley; brother, Frank Ponce of Patterson; and two grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her father, Vincent
Ponce.  A vigil service will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, at Hillview Funeral Chapel, 450 W. Las Palmas Ave., in
Patterson.  Friday's graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. at Patterson District Cemetery.  Services will be conducted by
Hillview Funeral Chapel, Patterson.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association,
Sacramento office, 2720 Gateway Oaks Drive, Suite 110, Sacramento 95833.
