Patterson Irrigator, 01/24/2007, p 9 Jose Luis Calderon Guido July 31, 1938 � Jan. 20, 2007 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday for Jose Luis Calderon Guido of Crows Landing, who died Saturday at his home. Mr. Calderon Guido, 68, was a native of Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico, and was a 20-year resident of Crows Landing. He worked 20 years as an industrial mechanic for Patterson Frozen Foods. Mr. Calderon Guido was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson. He liked to build and remodel houses and is described by his family as a visionary builder. He took pride in his grandchildren and family. Mr. Calderon Guido is survived by his wife, Rosa Maria Calderon of Crows Landing; son, Jose Luis Calderon II of Crows Landing; daughters, Esperanza Gonzales of Lathrop and Maria Guadalupe Calderon-Romero of Elk Grove; brothers, Ranulfo Calderon of Mexico and Pedro Calderon of Crows Landing; sisters, Maria Concepcion Calderon, Esperanza Calderon, Maria de Jesus Calderon and Alma Delia Calderon, all of Mexico; and seven grandchildren. Friday�s Mass will begin at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 529 I St., in Patterson. Burial will follow in Patterson District Cemetery, 10800 Highway 33. Visitation will be observed from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Hillview Funeral Chapel, 450 W. Las Palmas Ave., in Patterson, followed immediately by the recital of a rosary.
