Services Held for Alice Gustafson; A funeral service was held Saturday afternoon at Our Saviour s Lutheran
Church for Alice Lydia Gustafson of Patterson. She died last Wednesday evening at Del Puerto Hospital
following a long illness.  She was 81. A native of Fosston, Minn., she moved here with her family in 1913, and
later became a self-employed farmer. She was a member of Our Saviour s Lutheran Church and of the Women s
Circle of that church.  She also was a Farm Bureau member and a past member of the Walnut Growers
Association. Pastor Lawrence Sailer officiated the service.  Burial was in Patterson District Cemetery. Survivors
include three sisters, Dora Hauert of San Lorenzo, Hilma Agadoni of Patterson, and Edna Wilkins of San Jose;
seven nieces, Shirley Wade of Patterson, Arlene Carpenter of Oakdale, Winifred Burke of San Gabriel, Gail
Mrazek of Saudi Arabia, Diane Forrester of Chico, and Donna Youell and Pamela Rupprecht, both of San
Ramon; two nephews, Clay Agadoni of San Gabriel and Charles Gustafson of Patterson; and several great and
great great nieces and nephews. The family prefers that remembrances be sent to Our Saviour s Lutheran Church.
