Jesus Gutierrez, 30, of Westley, died Wednesday at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.  Mr. Gutierrez was a native of
Los Angeles and a longtime resident of Westley.  He was a custodian for the Patterson Unified School District eight
years.  He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson and a 1994 graduate of Patterson High School.
Mr. Gutierrez is survived by his wife, Maria Gutierrez of Westley; sons, Gabriel Gutierrez of Westley and Jesus
Gutierrez Jr. of Modesto; parents, Vincente and Alicia Gutierrez of Westley; brother, Vincente Gutierrez Jr. of North
Carolina; sister, Edith Gutierrez of Patterson; and grandfather, Luis Patlan of Mexico.  Friday's Mass will begin at 11
a.m. at the church.  Burial will follow at Patterson District Cemetery, 10800 Highway 33, Patterson.  A visitation will be
observed from 5 to 7 p.m., followed immediately by the recital of a rosary, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 529 I St.,
Patterson.  Memorial contributions in Mr. Gutierrez's name may be sent to Gloria Pinedo c/o Gutierrez Family Trust, Tri
Counties Bank, 17 Plaza, Patterson 95363.  Hillview Funeral Chapel, 450 W. Las Palmas Ave., Patterson, is handling the
arrangements.
