Guzman Matias PR 960123 p8 Matias Guzman, 87; A memorial Mass will be celebrated here this Saturday for Matias P. R. Gusman, who died Jan. 14 at his home in Oxnard. He was 87. A native of Chupicuaro, Michoacan, Mexico, he lived in the Patterson area for 47 years before moving to Oxnard. He was a self employed labor contractor. The Mass will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where he was a member. Garcia Mortuary in Oxnard is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Elvira Gusman of Oxnard; children, Dionisia Luna, Catherina Suarez, Helen Scarbrough, Virginia Gusman and Elizabeth Morales all of Modesto, Paul Gusman of Ceres, John Gusman of Turlock, Angelina Lomeli and Joe Gusman, both of Patterson, and Lupe Gusman of Reno, Nev.; a brother, Apolinar Gusman and a sister, Inez Gusman, both of San Bernardo, Michoacan, Mexico, 40 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren.
