Cecil V. Haile, 86;  A service was held Monday in Turlock for former Patterson resident Cecil V. Haile.   He died last
Wednesday at Brandel Manor in Turlock after being in failing health for some time.  He was 86.  He was born in Pratt
County, Kansas and came to the Denair area with his family at age 14.  In 1943 he moved to the Patterson area where he
lived and worked as a ranch foreman until retiring in 1987.  He farmed for the Harmon brothers, then many years for John
Delphia.  He was employed by Cerruti brothers when he retired, and since then lived in the Denair-Turlock area.  He was
a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Denair where a memorial service was held Monday morning.  Burial was in
Turlock Memorial Park.   Allen Mortuary in Turlock was in charge of the arrangements.  Survivors include his wife, lone
Haile of Turlock; three sons, Verlon of Patterson and Merlin and Darrell Haile, both of Turlock; two daughters, Wanda
Smith of Wheatland, Wyo. and Gwen Smith of Delhi; stepchildren John Howarth of Turlock and Burna Deene Howarth
of Ceres; 23 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Beulah Allen of Turlock and Lela Turner of
Camarillo.
