Halcon, Daniel 060412 p6 Sept. 9, 1946 � April 10, 2006 Services will be Friday for Stockton resident Daniel Halcon, who died Monday at Hospice House in Stockton. Mr. Halcon, 59, was a native of El Centro and had lived in Stockton four years. He had previously lived in Tracy, Milpitas, San Jose, Salinas and Patterson. He worked 21 years as a service representative for Pacific Bell Telephone Co. Before that, he had worked for Firestone Tire Company. He was a union steward for both Pacific Bell and Firestone Tire. He was an avid Los Angeles Dodgers and Oakland Raiders fan, and he enjoyed playing sports. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam. He was a graduate of Patterson High School. Mr. Halcon is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Halcon of Stockton; children, Daniel Halcon Jr. and Tracy Halcon, both of Stockton; mother, Teresa Halcon of Patterson; brothers, Roland Halcon and Ignacho Halcon, both of Salinas; sisters, Irene Parker of Patterson and Angie Hester of San Diego; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Ignacio Halcon, and a sister, Mary Halcon. Friday's services will begin at 10 a.m. at Hillview Funeral Chapel, 450 W. Las Palmas Ave., Patterson. Burial will follow in Patterson District Cemetery. Visitation will be observed from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, followed immediately by the recital of a rosary.
