Services were Thursday for former Patterson resident Winnie Lee Handley of Turlock, who died Sunday at Emanuel
Medical Center in that city.  Mrs. Handley, 90, was born in Missouri and grew up in Kansas. After marrying, she traveled
throughout the Northwest during World War II.  She moved to Hayward in 1963, to Patterson in 1998 and finally to
Turlock in 2000. Mrs. Handley worked as a glass worker for Owens-Illinois Glass Co. in Tracy for 13 years. She enjoyed
doing embroidery and crossword puzzles and playing cards. Mrs. Handley was a member of Patterson Christian
Fellowship and had attended Grace Community Church in Ceres for the past year. Mrs. Handley is survived by four
daughters, Yvonne Needens of Gardnerville, Nev., Janet Pickrel of Patterson, Shirl Cordova of Littleton, Colo., and
Linda Merrithew of Reno, Nev.; brother, Lee Creek of Illinois; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-
greatgrandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Handley, and four children. Thursday's funeral
service was at Grace Community Church, 3754 E. Service Road, in Ceres. Burial was in Tracy Cemetery, 600 W. Schulte
