Final Rites for James Haney, 42, Slated Friday:  James Darrell Haney of Crows Landing died Monday at Scenic General
Hospital in Modesto after a long illness.  He was 42. Haney had been a resident of the Crows Landing area the past 16
years, moving there from Gilroy.  He was a self-employed fence builder. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday
at Patterson District Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth Rowley officiating. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Haney five
sons, Finten, James Roy, Charles, Eli and Michael Haney; two daughters, Julie and Rolinda Haney; three brothers, Gene,
Dennie and Jay Haney; and his father, Roy Haney.  All reside in the Crows Landing area.
