Minnie Hansen Dies After Short Illness; Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Minnie Hansen last Saturday at 10
a.m. in Evans Funeral Chapel. She died August 31 in the Del Puerto Hospital afer a short illness. Rev. Kenneth Miller,
pastor of the Federated Church. conducted services.  She was interred in Hills Ferry Cemetery, Newman. Born in
Germany. January 9, 1878, she came to Newman in 1892, then moved to the Patterson area in 1902. She is survived by a
son, Niel Hansen; two granddaughters, Mrs. Rudolph Hansen and Miss Wilma Hansen: a great grandson, Steven David
Hansen; two brothers, Ewald  J. Brown of Reedley and Ferdinand Brown of Newman; and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Hoigh
of Newman and Mrs. Lena Lowry of Oakdale.
