Ray Joel Hardrick   May 30, 1933 -- March 16, 2004
Services will be today for former Patterson resident Ray Joel Hardrick, 70, of Modesto, who died March 16 in Corpus
Christi, Texas.  Mr. Hardrick was a native of Cedar Bluff, Ky. and he. had lived in Modesto for the last eight years.
Before that, he lived in Patterson from 1975 to 1992 and in Idaho from 1992 to 1996.  He was a truck driver with the
PMT Co. for 30 years and a member of the teamsters union.  He also served in the U. S. Navy and was a veteran of the
Korean War and a merchant mariner.  He is survived by his companion, Yalonda Myers of Turlock; daughters Marie
Hardrick-Kerr of Corpis Christi and Jill Hardrick of Everston, Wyo.; and four grandchildren.  He was preceded in death
by his wife. Martha Hardrick, in 1989.  Today s service will begin at 1 p.m. at Patterson Covenant Church, 435 W. Las
Palmas Ave.  Burial will follow at Patterson District Cemetery.  Services will he conducted by Hillview Funeral Chapel,
Patterson.
