Harper Charlie E 800414 np C.E. Harper Funeral Held; Gustine � Funeral services were conducted Friday in the Evans-Krieger Funeral Chapel for Charlie Edward Harper, 56, who died Tuesday in Martinez. A native of Oklahoma, he had resided in the Gustine area intermittently since 1953. He worked 10 years as a mechanic for the Jim Husman farming operation. Harper is survived by his mother Mollie Harper of Lingston four daughters, Shirley Stanton of Belmont, Charlene Harper and Betty Jean Young of Keyes, and Sharon Ray of Ripon; four brothers, W.W. "Bill" of Livingston, Robert of Odessa, Texas, and James and Jimmie D. Harper, both of Tatem, Texas; five sisters, Christine Hale of Gustine, Betty McNeley of Pittsburg, Arlene Silva of Fresno and Barbara Smith of Odessa, Texas; seven grandchildren; and 28 nieces and nephews.
