Hass Dorothea 850307 np
Memorial rites Friday for Dorothea Hass; A memorial service will be held this Friday at 11 a.m. for Dorothea Hass of
Patterson. She died Monday at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.  She was 70.  The service will be held at the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Crows Landing, where she was a member.  Evans Funeral Chapel handled the
arrangements. A native of Elko, Nevada, she had resided in Patterson for 37 years, coming here from San Jose.  She was
a secretary for J.D. "Jack" Patterson for 12 years. She was a member of the Patterson Township Historical Society and a
past member of the Soroptimist Club of Patterson. Survivors include one son, Harry Hass of Roeding Park, Calif.; two
daughters, Rita Sutton of Patterson and Brenda Nylund of Edmonds, Wash.; one brother, Don E. Duke of Reno, Nevada;
and six grandchildren. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to favorite charities.
