Services Held for Julius H. Hatlen; Services were held Wednesday afternoon at Our Saviour s Lutheran Church for
Julius Herbert Hatlen, 86, who died Monday in a Newman convalescent hospital.  Interment was in Patterson District
Cemetery. Hatlen, a native of Norway, had lived in Stanislaus County since 1941 and was a retired apricot grower.
He. is survived by his wife Lillie of Patterson, three sons, Orville S. of Elk Grove, Philip H. of Lafayette and Burton N.
Hatlen of North Orrington, Maine; a sister in Santa Barbara and one in Norway; and eight grandchildren. The family
requests remembrances be made to Our Saviour s memorial fund.
