Eva M. Helmer, 74;  A memorial service will be field here this evening, Tuesday, for Eva M. Helmer, a 26-year
resident of Patterson.  She died last Friday at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto following a long illness.  She
was 74.  She was it native of Beaumont, Texas and was a homemaker.  The service will he held at 7 p.m. at
Hillview Funeral Chapel.  Survivors include two sons, Floyd Helmer of Oklahoma and Kenneth Helmet of
Blythe, three daughters, Patricia Ellis of Patterson, Wanda Floodeen of Alabama, and Linda Packard of North
Carolina, 15 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
