Hendrix Fred 850620 np
Fred Hendrix Funeral Held; A 36 year Patterson area resident, Fred Hendrix, died June 12 at Doctors Hospital in
Modesto after a short illness. He was 80. A native of Arkansas, he had lived here since 1949 when he moved from
Oklahoma.  He was a retired mechanic and an Army veteran. A funeral service was held June 14 at Hillview Funeral
Chapel in Patterson with the Rev. Carolyn Gollihar officiating.  Burial was in Patterson District Cemetery. Survivors
include his wife, Jessie Hendrix of Grayson; three sons, Charles of Fremont, Eudith of Modesto. and Ken Hendrix of
Patterson; four daughters, Nettie Ollar, Martha Truett, and Florence Thomas, all of Modesto, and Ann Slayton of
Patterson; one sister, Eula Hale of Modesto; two brothers, Claude Hendrix of Modesto and Arley Hendrix of Missouri; 14
grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
