Joanne E. Hester, 66;  Joanne E. Hester, a retired switchboard operator who has lived the past several years in Patterson,
died last Thursday at the local home of her daughter.  She was 66.  A native of San Francisco, she was a member here of
the Federated Church.  She was a former member of the Jaycees of Santa Clara.  No services were held.  Survivors
include a son, Robert Grant Hester of Boulder Creek; a daughter, Beverly Freeman of Patterson; and six grandchildren.
