Service Held Here for Clarence Hetzel; A private funeral service was held here last Thursday for Clarence Lambert
Hetzel, 76, who died Feb. 9 at the Emmanuel Hospital in Turlock after a long illness. He resided in Patterson for 12 years
before moving to Turlock about three years ago. He had moved here from Redwood Valley, Calif. and had been a lumber
worker with Georgia Pacific for over 25 years. Rev. Gary Grundman conducted the service. Burial followed in Patterson
District Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Bird of Madera; a stepson, Leonard Johnson of Patterson; a
stepdaughter, Sally Waller of Stockton; a brother, Charles Hetzel of Ukiah; two sisters, Olga Nystrom and Mabel Merrit;
four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
