David I. Hiatt Services Held; Funeral services were held for David I. Hiatt, 78, who died suddenly Saturday afternoon.
His wife, Mrs. Alice Hiatt. said he stood up to go into another room and fell, striking his head on the floor.   He was
pronounced dead on arrival at Del Puerto hospital. Services were held in Evans Funeral Chapel with Mrs. Gladys Hunt of
the Christian Science Society officiating.  The body was taken to Lakewood Memorial Park for cremation.  He is
survived by his wife, Alice of Patterson; four sons, Donald, Earl, and Robert of Patterson, and Arthur of Modesto; two
daughters, Evelyn Barker of Ohio and Katherine Howard of Modesto.
