Marie Hidalgo Funeral Today; A funeral service will be held today, Thursday, in Grayson for Marie C. Hidalgo,
81, of Westley. She died at the Del Puerto Hospital Sunday after a short illness. A wake service was held
Wednesday evening at the Assembly of God Church in Grayson.  A funeral service is planned at 10 a.m.
Thursday at the Apostolic Movement Church, where she was a member. Officiating will be a son, the Rev. Sam
Hidalgo.  Burial will be in Patterson District Cemetery. She moved to Westley 24 years ago from her native state
of New Mexico.  She was active in ministry work since 1938, along with her late husband the Rev. Louis B.
Hidalgo.  Most recently she was active under the ministry of her son Sam, and served as director of the church's
women's group. Survivors include three sons, Louis Hidalgo Jr. of San Jose, the Rev. Sam Hidalgo of Westley,
and Nehemias Hidalgo of Mira Loma; two daughters, Rebecca Hidalgo of Modesto and Lita Zamorano of Tulare;
one brother, Alex Cardon of Fresno; and 28 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
