Hinman Harvey J 871215 p15 Harvey Hinman Funeral Today; A Modesto man who lived in Patterson for 25 years died suddenly Friday at his home. Harvey J. Hinman. a native of Three Oaks, Mich., died Friday at age 66. He resided here from 1946 until 1971 when he moved to Modesto. He worked on the construction of the Delta-Mendota Canal and then farmed in this area before moving to Modesto. There he opened and closed the Nalley s Fine Foods plant, where he was employed for four years, and then worked for Tri-Valley Growers. A funeral service will be held today, Tuesday, at 11 a.m. at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel in Modesto. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park. He was affiliated with Bethel Church in Modesto and was a member of the Patterson Masonic Lodge, the local American Legion Post, and Sons of Norway. He was a United States Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Hinman of Modesto; two sons, Timothy Hinman of San Jose and Bryan Hinman of Northridge; a daughter, Karen Headings of Modesto; one sister; one grandchild; four step grandchildren, and one step great grandchild.
