Funeral Held Saturday for Wilma Hodges, 77; A funeral service was held here Saturday for Wilma Mary Hodges, 77,
who died last Thursday at her Patterson home following a long illness. She was a retired registered nurse who moved
here in 1952 from Portland, Ore. She was employed at Del Puerto Hospital shortly after the local medical facility opened,
and later worked at West Side Hospital south of Newman. She was a native of Pleasanton, Iowa.  She was a member of
Our Saviours Lutheran Church in Patterson. Survivors include her husband, John Hodges of Patterson; a daughter, Joyce
Selby of Salinas; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The Rev. Gary Grundman officiated the service at
Hillview Funeral Chapel. Burial in Patterson District Cemetery followed.
