Final Rites For West Side Man; Funeral services were held Tuesday in New man for William Dana Hollister, 54, long
time resident of Newman and well known in the Patterson area.  Hollister was a native of Newman and had worked 24
years for PG&E. He died in a Newman hospital following a short illness. He was a past noble grand of the Odd Fellows
Lodge and had been a member of the New man Volunteer Five Department for 25 years. He is survived by his wife,
Jessie; a son Richard of Tracy; his father, E. D. Hollister of Newman; three brothers, Verl of Hollister; Elbert and Gordon
of Gustine; a sister, Lila Hansen of El Cerrito; and three grandchildren.
