Ernest C. Holst, 86;  The brother of a Patterson woman has died in Newman, Ernest C. Holst.  Holst died Monday at the
San Luis Convalescent Hospital.  He was 86.  He was born in Gustine and had lived in Newman for 66 years.  He was a
retired real estate agent and a member of the Gustine VFW post.  He was in the U.S. Army from 1943-45, seeing overseas
duty.  A graveside service will be held Friday at 11a.m. at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery near Gustine.
Survivors include one grandchild and three great-grandchildren, as well as three sisters, Evelyn Pasco and Eleanor
Cassity, both of Gustine, and Carol Raven of Patterson.
