Mass Said for Margaret Homen; Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Monday
morning for Margaret E. Hornen, 63, who died of an apparent heart attack at her El Circulo Ave. home last Thursday.
Interment was in Patterson District Cemetery. A native of Los Banos, she had lived in this area since 1925.  Long active
in Portuguese organizations she was the treasurer of SPRSI and a member of SES, UPPEC, UPEC, the YLI and Patterson
Garden Club. She is survived by a son, Henry Homen of Modesto; six daughters, Madeline Homen, Margaret Phillips
and Bel Lopes, all of Patterson, Eleanor Ferreira of Turlock and Delores Souza and Evelyn Dixon of Newman; a brother,
Joe A. Lema of Denair; 11 grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
