Horman Charley F 841018 np
Charley Horman Dies in Modesto; A funeral service will be held here today for Charley Frank Horman. He died
Monday at his Modesto home following a long illness.  He was 74. A native of Balfour, North Dakota, he had
resided in the Patterson and Modesto areas since moving from his native state in 1928.  He retired in 1971 after
30 years of driving truck for the Mayflower moving company. A graveside service will be held today at 1:30 p.m.
at Patterson District Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements are being made by Franklin and Downs Colonial Chapel in
Modesto. Survivors include his wife, Amelia Horman; two sons, Gaylen and Marvin Horman, all of Modesto;
and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
