Verna A. Horman, 79;  Verna Agatha Horman, who had lived most of her life in the Patterson area, died Tuesday at
Scenic Circle Care Center in Modesto.  She was 79.  A funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Hillview Funeral Chapel
in Patterson.  Burial in Patterson District Cemetery will follow.  Visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. until the service,
also at the chapel.  She was a native of Akeley, Minn., and had lived here since infancy.  She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a sister, Ora Butzbach of San Luis Obispo.  Remembrances should be sent to the Del Puerto Hospital
Foundation, P.O. Box 187, Patterson.
