Beulah E. Houtchens, 91;  Beulah E. Houtchens, a former Patterson resident who lived here 51 years, died last Friday in a
Stockton hospital.  She was 91.  Born in Byars, Okla., she moved to Patterson in 1932 and was a homemaker throughout
her life.  She was precede in death by her husband Dan in 1979.  In 1983 she moved to Stockton to be near her son. She
was a member of the Assembly of Good Church here and attended Lakeview Assembly in Stockton.  No services are
planned.  Visitation will be held Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial
Way in Lodi.  Private burial is planned at the Patterson District Cemetery.  Survivors include two sons, Don of Stockton
and Wayne Houtchens of Vancouver, Wash..,  seven grandchildren and 15 grandchildren. She also preceded in death by a
son, Bob Houtchens.  Remembrances should be sent to the Community Blind Center, 130 W. Flora St., Stockton, Calif.
