Fred Irvin Hudson
April 9, 1921 � April 21, 2007
A funeral service will be Thursday for Fred Irvin Hudson of Patterson, who died 
Saturday at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.
Mr. Hudson, 86, was a native of Lander, Wyo., and had lived in Patterson for 50 
years. He graduated 1939. He worked as an auto mechanic for 25 years and was 
last employed at Bessey Motor Co. in Patterson.  He previously worked for 
Fremont Motor Co. He also served as an aeronautical mechanic in the U.S. Navy 
during World War II. He was a member Orestimba 50-Plus Club in Newman.
Mr. Hudson is survived by his wife, Lilly Hudson of Patterson; daughter, Karen 
Crowdwe of Lynnwood, Wash.; nephew, Steve Pedrazzi of Crows Landing; niece, 
Terry Pedrazzi of Modesto; four grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Hudson and Harriet brother, Frank 
Hudson; three sisters, Doris Larremore, Dorothy Szczepanski and Ellen Finley; 
and a granddaughter, Katie Nies.
Thursday�s graveside service will begin at 1:30 p.m. at San Joaquin National 
Cemetery, 32053 W. McCabe Road, in Gustine. Visitation will be observed from 9 
a.m. to noon that day at Hillview Funeral Chapel, 450 Las Palmas Ave., in 
Patterson.
