Dale Edward Humbert. a long time resident of Le Grand and a 1954 graduate of Patterson High School, died Jan. 28
following a short illness.  He was 66. Born in Kearney, Neb.  He was employed by Brights Nursery, Tuttle Farms and
Raso Farms while living in Merced County. He enjoyed attending auctions and spending time with his grandchildren.
A remembrance gathering was held Jan. 31 in Merced. Final arrangements were by the Neptune Society of Central
California. Survivors include his wife, Carol Humbert of Le Grand; four sons, Daby of Clovis, Davey and Dell of Merced,
and Dale Humbert of Le Grand; two daughters. Debbie Van Hoecke and Dabby Fontes, both of Merced: 10
grandchildren; and his father, former longtime Patterson resident Ives Humbert who now lives in Merced.
