Madeline Theresa Ivey, 83;  An 83 year old Gustine woman known by a number of Patterson area residents died May 25
at her residence.  Madeline Theresa Ivey was a Gustine native who resided in that community her entire life.  She was a
homemaker and a member of Gustine Senior Citizens and Our Lady of Miracles Catholic Church in Gustine.  A rosary
and Mass were held Friday morning at the church.  Burial followed Friday afternoon in Oak Hill Cemetery in San Jose.
Hillview Funeral Chapel in Gustine was in charge of the arrangements.  Survivors include two sons, Harold of Santa
Clara and Frank Ivey of Gustine; a daughter, Susan Ivey of Newman; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren;
and a brother and sister, Joe Bettencourt and Albertina Bettencourt, both of Gustine.  Remembrances should be sent to
