Jack S. Nelson   Feb. 11, 1945 -- March 31, 2004
A graveside service will be observed today for Jack S. Nelson, 59, of Patterson. who died March 31 at Doctors Medical
Center in Modesto.  Mr. Nelson was a native and lifelong resident of Patterson.  He was a truck driver for 40 years, the
last two years with Carl Giesler Trucking Co.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a 1963 graduate of
Patterson High School.  He is survived by his children, William Nelson and Joanna Gentis, both of Sonora; his father,
William Nelson of Patterson; his brother, Tom Nelson of Twain Heart and two grandchildren.  Today s service will begin
at 2 p.m. at Patterson District Cemetery.  Services will be conducted by Hillview Funeral Chapel, Patterson.
