Steward Nelson Dies in Ripon; A private service was held in Ripon for Steward Blum Nelson who died in that city Oct.
18 of natural causes.  He was 95. He had lived in the Patterson area for 54 years and was a native of North Dakota.  The
self-employed farmer was a member of the Lutheran Church of Oxnard and the Elks Club of Bullhead, Arizona.
Survivors include his wife, Julia Nelson of Patterson; a son, William Nelson of Patterson; a daughter, Margaret Burner of
Renton, Washington; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. The family requests that remembrances be sent
to the donor s favorite charity.  Hillview Funeral Chapel of Patterson was in charge of the arrangements.
