Charles Noah, Counselor, Rites Held; Funeral services were conducted Saturday for Charles L. "Chuck" Noah, a
teacher, counselor and administrator at Patterson High School for 23 years who died last Wednesday in San
Francisco. One of Mr. Noah s last assignments was organizing Homecoming activities at the high school.  He had
been student activities director and was a popular figure on campus with both students and fellow staff members.
He had been hospitalized very recently and his death came as a shock to his many friends and acquaintances.
A native or Limon, Colorado, he was 53. Mr. Noah was past president of the Patterson Teachers Association, and
served as president of the Patterson Lions Club in 1982-83.  He was a member of the Covenant Church of
Patterson. He is survived by his wife, Judy Noah, of the family home in Patterson; a son. Jerry Noah, a student at
UC Santa Barbara; a daughter, Julie Noah, Northridge; and a brother, Mike Noah of Longview, Washington.
Funeral services were at the Covenant Church with burial at Patterson District Cemetery last Saturday.  Funeral
arrangements were under the direction of the Hillview Funeral Chapel. Donations may be made to the Chuck Noah
Scholarship Fund, c/o Patterson Unified School District, Patterson High School, 200 N. Seventh St., Patterson, CA.
