Services Held For Accident Victim, 12; Funeral services were held here Tuesday for l2-year old Amy Evalyne Novack,
who was killed Saturday evening when she was thrown from a tumbling automobile on Los Palmas Avenue a mile east of
Patterson.  The youngster, a seventh grader st Patterson Junior High School, had lived here since June. She was a native
of Idaho. She is survived by her mother, Cheryl Hill, 416 � N. Second Street, a sister Linda, 13, who suffered minor
injuries in the accident, and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Soles of Nevada and William Novack Sr. of Idaho.
The California Highway Patrol said the youngster was thrown to the pavement when the eastbound automobile driven by
Enrique Garcia Gutierrez, 20, of Turlock, went out of control and rolled near Sycamore Avenue.  Gutierrez was treated at
Del Puerto Hospital for minor injuries, arrested there and bunked for felony drunken driving. Other charges are pending,
the CUP said.
